User Guides

Fitting, setup and troubleshooting for your shifter. Print it, or read it on your phone in the garage.

Software

For Windows. Most people only need the software itself. The full help file is built into it, under the Help tab.

Windows may warn you about the software — this is expected

Our SABS installer does not carry a paid code-signing certificate, so Windows and some antivirus programs flag it simply because they have not seen it before. It is not a virus and there is nothing wrong with the file.

In your browser, choose Keep if it asks. When you run it, Windows may say “Windows protected your PC” — click More info, then Run anyway.

If your antivirus blocks it altogether, or you would rather not click through a warning, get in touch and we will send it to you another way. Please do not turn your antivirus off.

Do I need the firmware? Almost certainly not. Your unit already has the current firmware on it when it leaves us. You only need a firmware file if you are updating an older unit — if you are not sure, ask us before you flash anything.
First time connecting a SABS? Windows can block the USB lead driver on first use. Search Driver updates in Windows, look under optional updates for the FTDI files, and allow them to install. You only do this once.
